Donations
Dark Isles is a free online, multi-player text game run by volunteers who work hard to design, develop and create the original world in which it is set. A lot of time and effort is put in by both players and staff who enjoy what they do. However, whilst the game is free to play, there are unfortunately a number of running costs involved with keeping the website, forums, blogs and the like alive and functional. These include:
- domain registration and renewal
- web hosting costs
- fees for Movable Type license for website and blogs
- advertising to promote the game
- fees for the Invision forums license (currently working towards)
