Since our players seem to be on at the most random of times, here's a little forewarning:
Since the masquerade ball, four (IC) nights ago, the city has been in a state of unrest. It has become more and more obvious that what is troubling Seahaven's citizens is not a typical seasonal illness due to infect a few and then run its course. No. The hospitals are overrun with the sick and dying; doctors and nurses have worked themselves half to death and, as time passes by, more and more of them are growing ill as well. Volunteers have quit making their appearance in a desperate attempt to save themselves, leaving the bedridden to their fate. Mob mentality has taken control of the streets, keeping the Watch frantic as they try to control a panicked populace, though many have barricaded themselves behind locked doors or fled the city entirely in order to avoid the disease carrying air.
Perhaps most frightening of all: Milford has already reported several suffering these same symptoms, the population of the Tir camp has been decimated and the city's top alchemists have been forced to admit what many have feared: There is no known cure for this plague.
Seahaven is in trouble.
