Things To Double Check Before You Leave Creation

Everyone forgets something, and those niggling little details can become quite a pain in the rear. I've been there! Here are the things I always check for before I step out of the creation tutorials:

    1. Did I visit the newbie shops at the end of the creation tutorial? You'll find clothes and weapons and a lot of other things your character will need to start off life in the Isles there, far far cheaper than in the world itself.
    2. Is my character going to be a hunter, gatherer, miner, or lumberjack? Don't forget to buy your permits. Again, purchasing your first permit in the creation zone will not only save you time, but money.
    3. Is my character going to be combat oriented? If so, don't forget to buy the permits that they'll need to carry their weapons within the city limits. Without them, your character could be fined or have their weapons confiscated!
    4. Decide on the second language my character will speak and set it using the langset command.
      langset Skrell 50
      langset Human 50
      langset Tir 50
      langset Sayaki 50
Your character can only learn up to 50 points in one language through this command, so choose wisely. Besides human, the most popularly spoken language in Seahaven is Tir. Trade is never used.

Feel free to add your own!
